Personal Safety Seminar

Ladies-

The Gwinnett County Police Department Crime Prevention Unit will be at HMUMC on Monday, Oct. 27 from 7-9 PM to present a Rape Prevention Seminar for women.  The seminar is for women 18 and older, but girls 16-17 are welcome to attend if accompanied by a parent.  Learn how to be aware of your surroundings and about common mistakes women make.  Learn how not to become a victim.  There is no cost, but reservations are requested. Christmas Canteen

In December, in lieu of a book discussion,  our book club will be attending the Christmas Canteen at the Aurora Theatre in Lawrenceville.  The show we will attend is December 11 (our normal book club night) and starts at 8:00 PM.  Tickets are $24.00 (plus tax)  unless we have a group of 10 or more.  The group rate is $20 per ticket (including tax.)
