July Book Pick

July bookclub is at Troye's...Salsa and Sandals!

With 63% of the vote, our next book pick is Something Borrowed by Emily Griffin . Bookclub meets Monday, July 2nd, so get reading! Place TBA.
Book Overview:
Something Borrowed tells the story of Rachel, a young attorney living and working in Manhattan. Rachel has always been the consummate good girl---until her thirtieth birthday, when her best friend, Darcy, throws her a party. That night, after too many drinks, Rachel ends up in bed with Darcy's fiancé. Although she wakes up determined to put the one-night fling behind her, Rachel is horrified to discover that she has genuine feelings for the one guy she should run from. As the September wedding date nears, Rachel knows she has to make a choice. In doing so, she discovers that the lines between right and wrong can be blurry, endings aren't always neat, and sometimes you have to risk all to win true happiness. Something Borrowed is a phenomenal debut novel that will have you laughing, crying, and calling your best friend.

Book Meme

I learned a new term for something we all have done. It's a "meme"! What is a "meme"? A meme is a pre-set group of questions, similar, in many ways, to a chain letter. You can start your own, or "grab" one off someone else's blog. A meme might look something like this (though typically it will be longer):
What was your first job out of high school?
What was your first pet?
Describe your first date.
What was your first car?

So here is a meme for us! You can copy this into an email and answer it then email it to me and I will post for everyone to see. Have fun!

First order of business is to vote on our next book, so be sure to scroll down to the bottom and vote. (Make sure you check a book before you hit the vote button.) You can only vote once, even if you don't select one of the options.
