Book Meme

I learned a new term for something we all have done. It's a "meme"! What is a "meme"? A meme is a pre-set group of questions, similar, in many ways, to a chain letter. You can start your own, or "grab" one off someone else's blog. A meme might look something like this (though typically it will be longer):
What was your first job out of high school?
What was your first pet?
Describe your first date.
What was your first car?

So here is a meme for us! You can copy this into an email and answer it then email it to me and I will post for everyone to see. Have fun!

Any, on bargain shop shelf.
Online and in-store.
Borders.
Fold 1/3 of the page in to mark every page noteworthy.
Never alphabetize! Shelve them by looks and author.
Keep dust jacket.
Read with dust jacket.
Fables and biographies!!!
Lemony Snicket, although big fan of Harry Potter.
Read and stop, and read, and stop... pick up whenever.
No horror stories, no fairy tales, for me.
Buy and borrow but keep all classics ever read (not many).
New and used.
Recommendations and browse. Never read a review before writing mine :-)
Tidy or cliffhanger are fine as long as the writing style is good!
Read whenever, no discipline; no reading in less than a few weeks time.
Stand-alone and/or series.
Series: Got started on "A Series of Unfortunate Events":
The Tin Soldier (children's)
Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach, read in 1976.
My Sister's Keeper (I don't read a lot at all.)
One Hundred Years of Solitude (Own as Cem Anos de Solidao)
Good In Bed.
Reading right now... all about air tools and home improvement DIY!
Reading next: A Thousand Splendid Suns (pre-ordered and should get it on May 31).
